Job Description: Sales Manager – Industrial Products Position: Sales Manager Location: [Company Location] Reports To: Head of Sales Role Objective: To drive new business development and lead generation efforts, convert prospects into customers, and manage end-to-end sales activities for industrial products. This role will focus on expanding the client base, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring sales targets are met through strategic planning and team leadership. Key Responsibilities:1. Lead Generation & New Client Acquisition
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to ensure consistent lead conversion.
- Follow up diligently on all leads and convert them into long-term business relationships.
- Present solutions to prospective clients with a clear understanding of their industrial requirements. 2. Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and manage escalations effectively.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely communication and service delivery. 3. Revenue & Target Achievement
- Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions to meet sales and profit goals.
- Ensure product-wise and segment-wise sales targets are met. 4. Team Leadership & Support
- Lead, mentor, and guide the sales team to meet their individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
- Provide support for joint sales calls and deal closures. 5. Sales Process Management
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from enquiry to order finalization.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of quotations and commercial proposals.
- Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction. 6. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Production, Service, Logistics, and Back Office to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Coordinate with external agents and channel partners to maximize reach and efficiency. 7. Payment & Documentation Oversight
- Ensure timely invoicing and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Review and maintain all sales-related documentation, agreements, and client records. 8. Reporting & Strategic Input
- Submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports to senior management.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to drive strategic decisions. Key Internal & External Interactions: Internal:

- Timely payment collection and reduction in outstanding receivables
- Customer satisfaction and repeat business rate
- Quality and accuracy of sales documentation Critical Activities:
- Respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours
- Conduct client meetings and product presentations regularly
- Implement ongoing training programs for team development
- Analyze customer data and conduct monthly market assessments
- Ensure proper complaint resolution and service follow-ups
- Participate in industry exhibitions, forums, and seminars Qualifications & Requirements: Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
- Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in industrial or B2B product segments
- Experience in lead generation and client acquisition is essential Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
