Role** QA Engineer Data Migration (Unstructured Content) Required Technical Skill Set**
• SharePoint Online/On-prem fundamentals (sites, libraries, permissions, versioning) and content inventory/export approaches
• Working knowledge of target platforms: Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and/or PMWeb (document management concepts, folder structures, permissions)
• Data migration QA methods: reconciliation, sampling, evidence-based validation, audit packs
• Ability to design and execute automated QC checks : file/folder count reconciliation, hierarchy comparison, metadata completeness, permissions delta, error-log reconciliation
• Scripting/automation: Python or PowerShell (preferred) for building reusable validation scripts; ability to work with CSV/JSON and APIs
• API/log understanding: ability to query target systems and interpret migration execution logs, retries, failures, and exceptions
• File integrity validation concepts: file size comparison, checksum/hash (where supported), corrupt/zero-byte file detection
• Reporting & dashboards: advanced Excel/Power BI (preferred) to track completeness, exceptions, trends, and sign-offs
• Solid documentation skills: QA plan, acceptance criteria matrix, checklists, issue/exception log Proven QA experience for repository-to-repository migrations (unstructured content) with reconciliation and evidence-based sign-off
• Strong hands-on automation/scripting (Python/PowerShell) for validation and reporting
• Solid understanding of permissions/access models and ability to validate access replication without leakage
• Excellent analytical skills for root cause analysis and exception triage (critical/medium/info)
