Job Title: R&D; Associate API Location: Kolkata Experience: 15 Years Qualification: Phd/M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry) Job Description:
- Perform multi-step organic synthesis for API/intermediates
- Optimize reaction conditions to improve yield, purity, and cost
- Support scale-up activities from lab to pilot/plant level
- Prepare batch documents, SOPs, and development reports
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and QC for smooth tech transfer
- Troubleshoot process issues during manufacturing
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, GLP, and safety standards
- Interpret analytical data (HPLC, GC, NMR) Key Skills:
- Organic synthesis & reaction mechanisms
- API process development / scale-up
- Analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, NMR)
- cGMP & documentation practices
- Problem-solving and plant support Preferred:
- Experience in API / Pharma manufacturing
