Job Title: Bridge Draughtsman Location: Kolkata Job Type: Full-time Salary: Negotiable (based on experience and expertise) Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Bridge Draughtsman with strong expertise in preparing detailed engineering drawings for bridge and allied infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in consultancy-based design environments (not site-only roles) and be proficient in drafting software and detailing standards. The candidate will work closely with bridge engineers to convert design concepts into precise technical drawings, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed drawings for bridges, culverts, ROBs/RUBs, river training works, and protection structures. Assist engineers in developing GA drawings, reinforcement details, and fabrication drawings. Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools for drafting and revisions. Ensure drawings comply with IRC, IS codes, and project specifications Modify drawings based on design changes, vetting comments, and authority requirements Maintain drawing registers, revisions logs, and documentation control Work closely with structural engineers, estimators, and project teams Requirements: Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering / Draftsmanship (or equivalent) 3 – 6 years of experience in bridge/infrastructure drafting (preferably consultancy projects) Robust proficiency in: AutoCAD (mandatory) ,Civil 3D / MicroStation (preferred) Good understanding of Bridge components (deck, girder, pier, abutment, bearings, etc.) Reinforcement detailing principles Interested candidates can apply at with their updated CV.
