Civil Engineer (West Bengal)

Job Overview We are looking for a Civil Engineer with hands‑on experience in Mivan (Aluform) shuttering systems and basement construction works . The role involves on‑site execution, coordination with stakeholders, quality control, and support in planning and documentation for structural works. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor Mivan (Aluform) shuttering activities , including formwork erection, alignment, concreting, and de‑shuttering. Oversee basement construction works such as raft slabs, retaining walls, waterproofing, and associated RCC activities. Assist senior engineers with superstructure and basement execution logs , Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) , shop drawings, and technical documentation. Ensure correct placement of reinforcement, embeds, inserts, and sleeves as per approved drawings. Verify materials, shuttering systems, machinery, and equipment required for site execution. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, safety norms, and construction methodologies . Prepare daily progress reports , maintain site records, and support quality documentation. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth project execution. Support planning, micro‑scheduling, sequencing of works, and resource allocation . Assist during concreting operations, including coordination with RMC suppliers and quality checks. Desired Candidate Profile Education Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering UG: B.Tech / B.E. (Civil) Experience 3–4 years for BE & 5-7 years for Diploma of relevant site execution experience Mandatory exposure to Mivan (Aluform) shuttering and basement works Experience in RCC and superstructure works preferred Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Mivan shuttering systems , RCC works, basement construction practices, and construction materials. Proficiency in AutoCAD & Excel, MS Office , and project documentation. Understanding of BBS, QS and drawing interpretation . Good analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities. Quality‑focused, safety‑conscious, and site‑oriented mindset.
