The role involves working with large datasets, ensuring data quality, and enabling analytics and downstream applications through reliable and efficient data engineering solutions. What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and semi-structured data.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Python and SQL .
- Ingest data from multiple sources (databases, APIs, files, streaming systems) into data lakes and data warehouses.
- Work with cloud-based data platforms to implement and manage data solutions.
- Ensure data quality, data integrity, and performance optimization across pipelines.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and application teams to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data processing jobs for reliability and scalability.
- Follow best practices for data security, governance, and compliance . What You Need to Be Successful
- Solid hands-on experience with Python for data processing and automation.
- Excellent SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and performance optimization.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL frameworks .
- Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with data lakes, data warehouses , and distributed data processing concepts.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning .
- Around 5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related roles. Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud-native data services (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, Azure Synapse).
- Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or cloud-native streaming services.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices for data platforms (CI/CD for data pipelines).
- Exposure to AI/ML data pipelines and feature engineering.
- Experience in automotive, embedded, or product-based environments . What Makes You Eligible
- 6 to 9 years of overall experience with at least 6 years of relevant data engineering experience .
- Proven ability to work with large-scale data systems in production environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
