Workstation Service Engineer (West Bengal)

Years of Experience: 2-5 years Shift timings : 11AM 8PM/2PM 11PM Work Location: Hyderabad Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Up-to-date Desktop Administrator Associate, CompTIA Security+, or similar.
- Proficient in configuring and managing Microsoft Intune for device management and policy enforcement.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability assessment and patch management processes.
- Having exposure to Qualys, SCCM, PowerShell & SQL.
- Good Knowledge on Cloud and Azure related services
- Extensive experience with Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of endpoint security best practices and tools.
- Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Hands on experience on creating reports, dashboard using tools like Power BI etc will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in providing remote support and troubleshooting to end-users. Work you'll do Highly skilled and experienced candidate with strong background in managing and maintaining workstation environments, with expertise in Intune, vulnerability management, and Windows administration. This role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the security, stability, and efficiency of our workstation infrastructure. Key Responsibilities:
- As an Intune SME, you are responsible for end-to-end management and troubleshooting of Windows devices including but not limited to OS, Application, Configuration, Compliance management.
- Perform complex resolution activities to diagnose issues (related to application deployment, configuration issue, etc.) and perform Quality Assurance focusing on end user experience.
- Work with various teams to complete solution as per the requirement/request from business.
- Migration Experience of Windows 10 device from On-Prem AD+SCCM managed environment to Azure AD+Intune (standalone) managed environment is must.
- Expertise in PowerShell Scripting and Proficiency in other scripting languages (e.g., VBS, Batch Scripts, etc.) will be additional advantage.
- In-depth knowledge to create and configure MDM policies.
- Create and Deploy applications (LOB/Win32/Store Apps/etc.) using Intune i.e., managing application lifecycle.
- Managing Software Updates and Feature Updates for Windows operating environment.
- Management Gateway, Windows Autopilot, Co-management etc.
- Support Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager infrastructure and support components.
- Create Deployments/Collections/Applications within a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager environment.
- Download and deploy Monthly MS Security Updates within Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows operating systems on workstations.
- Support Microsoft Modern Management platforms which include Intune, SCCM, Cloud Management Gateway, Windows Autopilot, Co-management etc.
- Support Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager infrastructure and support components.
- Create Deployments/Collections/Applications within a Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager environment.
- Download and deploy Monthly MS Security Updates within Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
- Create complex automation scripts using PowerShell.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in a Windows environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows operating systems and applications.
- Optimize workstation performance and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Provide technical support to end-users for workstation-related issues.
- Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in workstation management and security. Qualifications:
- BE/BTech/MCA/MS
- 2-5 years of strong experience Proven experience as a Workstation Engineer
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune and its capabilities.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and practices.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and administration.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
