Quality Control Chemist (West Bengal)

Job Type: Full time Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Chemist located in Kolkata. strictly for pharmaceutical background. The Quality Control Chemist will conduct routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. Responsibilities will include the operation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment, analysis and documentation of test results, preparation of lab reports, and maintaining adherence to safety and quality standards. The role requires collaboration with Quality Assurance and Production teams to address any deviations or quality concerns.QualificationsProficiency in Quality Control principles and practices, including testing and documentationStrong Laboratory Skills, such as sample analysis and chemical testingExcellent Analytical Skills for interpreting data and resolving quality issuesExperience with Laboratory Equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshootingKnowledge of Calibration processes and ensuring accuracy in measurementsAttention to detail and solid problem-solving skillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or related fieldFamiliarity with regulatory compliance standards is a plusFamiliarity with pharmaceutical testing and protocol ExperienceB.Pharm / M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.Experience: Candidate should have at least 5 years experience at management level in Manufacturing/Quality control & formulation, preferably in pharmaceutical background.
