Instrument And Control Engineer (West Bengal)

Role & responsibilities 1. Maintenance of TG/Boiler-E&U; area 2. Knowledge of Instrumentation, Field Instruments, On-Off Valves, Control Valves, DCS (Preferably ABB DCS), PLC (Preferably Siemens PLC) etc 3. Knowledge on Calibration of Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level Transmitters, Analysers like pH, Conductivity etc 4. Calibration of Pneumatic On-Off valves, Control Valves, MOVs etc 5. Knowledge on Different Control Networks like Profibus, Profinet etc 6. Managing manpower like Instrument Technicians and Helpers 7. Basic Operating knowledge of Boiler-TG-WTP-CHP-ETP 8. Provide predictive and preventative maintenance support to all maintenance crew and record equipment maintenance history. 9. Conduct field round, check equipment and address abnormalities if any 10. Ensure that all maintenance activities as per plan within the approved budget. Ensure best practices are applied. 11. Plan and execute Capex, focus improvement and one-off activities towards improvement in the areas of product, process improvements, maintenance reliability & cost reduction 12. Responsible for development and implementation of effective programs for teaching employees 13. Actively participate in the TPM initiatives as per role. Work with the team to achieve all the performance indicators and pillar/JH KPIs 14. Ensure the safety and well-being of self and all employees in the job and proactively address all safety concerns 15. Ensure that all the statutory norms are followed and coordinate audits like EHS, ISO-9001, ISO-14001,ISO 450001,ISO 50001 and address any non-conformance if any 16. Preferably acquainted with software like SAP, Computer Operation Word, Excel, Power Point etc. Preferred candidate profile
