- 60 Days Preferred Role Summary We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer Development with strong expertise in Java-based application development. The ideal candidate should have experience in SAP OData, SQL/PostgreSQL, product development, defect analysis, debugging, unit testing, and technical collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve product defects and technical issues.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Java technologies.
- Participate in technical and design discussions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation including HLD and LLD.
- Perform unit testing and author JUnit test cases.
- Conduct peer code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Update and maintain project documentation in SVN, Confluence, and JIRA.
- Collaborate with internal teams, overseas development teams, and customers.
- Guide, mentor, and support junior team members.
- Coordinate with Support, PSO, and other cross-functional teams as required. Mandatory Skills
- Robust programming experience in Java (Backend Development).
- Experience with SAP OData.
- Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL or other RDBMS databases.
- Experience with J2EE technologies.
- Hands-on experience in unit testing and JUnit.
- Experience with source code management tools such as SVN.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of JSP, JavaScript, Servlets, XML, and GWT.
- Experience with application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, or JBoss.
- Familiarity with IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, or NetBeans.
- Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
- Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Jasper or BO.
- Understanding of UML, Design Patterns, HLD, and LLD. Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech or B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field. Required Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments.
- Experience in customer interaction and stakeholder management is an advantage.
