Civil & Structural Design Manager / AGM (10-20 Years) Job description For Ferrous / Non- Ferrous Projects for Metal & Mining Business Unit( Steel/ Iron Projects) Preferred candidate profile Qualification : Graduate and Postgraduate in Civil /Structural Engineering Experience : 10-20 Years Location : Kolkata / Jamshedpur Role & responsibilities Proficiency Knowledge in overall project engineering & design engineering.
- Identification of clients needs based on project requirement, data collection from Client and site visit.
- Understanding of overall project scheduling, procurement activities.
- Knowledge of applicable civil and structural design/ engineering standards like IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, BSEN etc.
- Shall be mobile & agile.
- Shall work as lead engineer for various projects.
- Preparation of technical proposals & man hour estimation for current projects.
- Cost estimation for construction works.
- Preparation of enquiry documentation for suppliers/subcontractors.
- Selection and coordination of suppliers/subcontractors.
- Understanding and interpretation of assignment drawings.
- Development and review of technical reports such as Concept Note, Feasibility Study report, Detailed Project Report.
- Preparation and checking of technical specification & BOQs.
- Must have knowledge of RC & structural Design & GFC drawings checking.
- Shall be capable of preparation of calculation of design Documents.

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Civil/Structural Engineering with 10-15 years experience and knowledge of IS, ACI, AISC, ASCE, BSEN standards, RC & structural design, GFC drawings, and Navisworks.
- Lead project engineering and design, client requirement analysis, project scheduling, procurement, cost estimation, supplier coordination, technical proposal preparation, and review of technical reports.
