Junior QA Engineer (AI-Assisted Testing) (West Bengal)

About Epigroww Global We ship a lot — 100+ creatives a week, multiple client websites and tools in active production, AI assistants and automation flows for brands across four continents. We need someone who makes sure none of it breaks. The Role You'll be the quality safety net for our Tech pillar — testing websites, landing pages, e-commerce stores, dashboards, and AI-powered tools before they go live to clients. You'll combine manual testing fundamentals with AI tools that help you generate test cases, write automation scripts, and catch regressions faster. What You'll Do
- Test client websites and web apps across browsers, devices, and screen sizes
- Write and execute transparent test cases — both manual and automated
- Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to generate test scenarios, edge cases, and exploratory testing checklists
- Test APIs using Postman or similar
- Build basic automation scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress (with AI assistance where helpful)
- Validate forms, payment flows, WhatsApp/email integrations, and AI chatbot responses
- File clean, reproducible bug reports and follow up until resolution
- Verify Core Web Vitals, accessibility basics, and cross-browser compatibility What We're Looking For
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals (test cases, bug lifecycle, regression vs. smoke vs. sanity)
- Hands-on with at least one automation tool (Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium)
- Comfort with Postman for API testing
- Proficiency using AI tools to draft test cases, write scripts, and analyze logs — you should be able to demonstrate this in the interview
- Sharp eye for detail and edge cases — the kind of person who breaks things on purpose
- Good written communication for clear bug reports Bonus Points
- Basic JavaScript knowledge (helps massively with automation)
- Exposure to Git/GitHub
- ISTQB Foundation or any formal testing certification
- Experience testing AI/LLM-powered features (chatbots, recommendation engines, etc.)
