Role & responsibilities
We are looking for Sales Engineer/Sr. Sales Engineer who has an experience in selling
engineered products to mid-sized and big organizations in the space of Industrial,
Agriculture.
JOB PURPOSE:
To oversee specific customer accounts assigned on South India. Sales & Marketing includes
sales, planning, business development and managing end to end relationship between business
and its existing customers, while also identifying and focus on developing current customers.
Responsibilities:
• Should map potential customers and generate leads as per strategic plan.
• Responsible for various brand promotion and lead conversions.
• Responsible for post sales services and client relationship management.
• Implements strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate
objectives.
• Develops direct and indirect customers for products like Ball & Roller bearings.
• Directs sales forecasting activities and achieves performance goals set accordingly.
• Implements market channel development activities.
• Reviews and analyses sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine
effectiveness.
• Closely monitor the outstanding accounts receivables of customers.
• Co-ordinate with BUH in execution of OEM Sales & distribution strategy.
• Follow up on market conditions, customer policy, product and production.
• Formulate and effectively communicate Value selling proposition” to the customer.
• Identify and communicate the new business opportunities in terms of new products, new
applications, current customers, and recent way of doing business.
• Implement segment/customer strategy.
• Liaise with respective application engineers/Sales Managers to synergize and jointly add
value with techno-commercial approach to customer needs.
• Liaise with the business unit’s customer service and respective warehouses of various
brands.
• Manage the allocated customer account and develop to grow the existing business.
• Participate in customer projects and support in implementation of the activities.
• Review of customer enquiry/requirements and contracts and enter into negotiations with
customers.
• Support customer business efficiency.
