Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Control Monitor daily footwear production activities.

Ensure production targets are achieved on time.

Coordinate with cutting, stitching, lasting, and finishing departments.

Prepare production schedules and workflow plans.

Process Improvement Analyze manufacturing processes and identify efficiency improvements.

Reduce material wastage and improve productivity.

Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.

Quality Control Ensure footwear products meet quality standards.

Work with QA/QC teams to reduce defects and rework.

Monitor adherence to SOPs and technical specifications.

Machine & Equipment Management Supervise operation and maintenance of footwear manufacturing machines.

Coordinate preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.

Ensure proper machine utilization.

Workforce Supervision Guide and supervise line supervisors and operators.

Train workers on production methods and safety procedures.

Manage manpower allocation based on production needs.

Inventory & Material Coordination Coordinate with stores and procurement for raw material availability.

Monitor consumption of leather, soles, adhesives, fabrics, etc.

Prevent shortages and excess inventory.

Safety & Compliance Ensure workplace safety and factory compliance standards.

Maintain housekeeping and industrial safety practices.

Reporting & Documentation Prepare daily production reports.

Track KPIs such as efficiency, rejection rate, downtime, and output.

Maintain production records and documentation.

Required Skills Knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes

Production planning and line balancing

Understanding of industrial engineering concepts

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Team management and communication

Familiarity with ERP/software systems

Knowledge of quality standards and lean manufacturing

Educational Qualification Bachelors degree or Diploma in:

Mechanical Engineering

Industrial Engineering

Footwear Technology

Production Engineering

Preferred Experience 24 years in any Production Process (footwear or garment manufacturing preferred) Experience in assembly-line production environments
