Junior Interior Designer (West Bengal)

At AB Design we craft thoughtful timeless and detail-driven interiors that balance functionality with refined aesthetics As part of our collaborative and creative environment you will contribute to transforming spaces through fresh ideas strong design sensibilities and a passion for innovation Roles Responsibilities 1 Concept Development Work alongside the design team to contribute creative inputs during the conceptual stage Assist in developing mood boards visual storylines and concept narratives that reflect the studio s design language and client aspirations 2 Space Planning Support in designing effective spatial layouts for residential and commercial projects Prepare floor plans furniture layouts and preliminary design sketches with attention to function and flow 3 Material Finish Selection Research and shortlist materials fabrics finishes and accessories relevant to project requirements Help create material palettes and presentation boards for internal reviews and client approvals 4 3D Modelling Visualisation Produce 3D views conceptual renders and technical drawings using software such as AutoCAD SketchUp or related tools Assist in preparing visually engaging presentations for client meetings 5 Vendor Site Coordination Communicate with vendors suppliers and contractors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials Maintain updated knowledge of market trends and vendor offerings 6 Documentation Support Support the team in preparing working drawings design documentation BOQs and project timelines Help organize and maintain digital and physical project files 7 Client Interaction Participate in client meetings along with senior designers Assist in presenting ideas explaining design decisions and addressing basic client queries professionally Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Interior Design or a related discipline A well-curated portfolio demonstrating academic or professional design work Proficiency in AutoCAD SketchUp Adobe Suite and other design tools Strong understanding of design fundamentals color theory materiality and space planning Good communication organization and presentation skills A keen eye for detail enthusiasm for learning and a collaborative team spirit Ability to adapt to fast-paced project requirements and evolving design trends Job Type Full time Pay 14 000 00
