Senior Video Editor & Motion Graphics Artist (West Bengal)

We are looking for a high-speed, storytelling-driven Video Editor with 3+ years of experience to join our post-production team. The ideal candidate is not just an editor but a visual storyteller who understands the rhythm of social media. You must be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite and capable of blending "Textography" (Kinetic Typography) with modern, fast-paced editing styles to create high-retention content. Key Responsibilities ● Advanced Video Editing: Edit high-quality videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, and ads using Adobe Premiere Pro. You must be fast with shortcuts and workflow. ● Motion Graphics & VFX: Use Adobe After Effects to create engaging intros, transitions, and visual effects that hook the audience. ● Textography & Typography: Master the art of "Textography"—creating dynamic, moving text animations (Kinetic Typography) that keep viewers watching without sound. ● Asset Creation: Use Adobe Illustrator and Canva to design custom assets, lower thirds, and thumbnails that complement the video. ● Storytelling & Pacing: You are responsible for the "flow." You must know how to cut fluff, maintain high energy, and use music/SFX to drive emotion and retention. ● Trend Adaptation: Stay updated with the latest editing trends (e.g., Alex Hormozi style captions, documentary-style pacing, seamless transitions) and apply them to our brand. Requirements ● Experience: Minimum 3+ years of professional editing experience (Agency or Production House experience is a plus). ● Software Stack: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Illustrator. Proficiency in Canva for quick graphic assets. ● Modern Style: Strong understanding of "retention editing"—using visual hooks, b-roll, and sound design to minimize drop-off rates. ● Technical Skills: Knowledge of color grading (Lumetri Color), audio mixing/syncing, and frame-rate optimization for different platforms. ● Portfolio: A strong showreel or portfolio link is mandatory.
