WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH Ravi (Co-Founder & CTO) — AI engineer and entrepreneur. Two decades spanning ML/NLP research and product engineering. Previously founded Beautiful Code, where he helped engineering teams raise their bar on quality. That foundation in craft is core to how Qlue is built. Your quality findings go directly to Ravi — he acts on them fast. Sushma (Co-Founder & CEO) — marketing and consumer insights specialist with 18 years consulting with some of the world's largest consumer brands. Engineering background + MBA in marketing. You'll support Sushma on client delivery tasks, which will ground you in the real-world challenges that generate the best quality insights. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for someone to be the product's most rigorous critic. Your primary job is to use Qlue deeply and frequently — on real workflows, not test scripts — and turn that experience into structured, actionable quality insights. This is not a QA role where you run test scripts. You'll be a power user who finds every rough edge, measures quality systematically, and articulates what should be different with enough clarity that it can be built from. Quality ownership is the core — product intuition and eventually product direction emergefrom this foundation. WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Use the product deeply. Run real workflows regularly — simulations, agent sessions, research analyses. Understand every feature's strengths and limitations through first-hand experience.
- Run quality audits. Build and maintain a product quality scorecard. Run systematic audits across features. Make quality measurable and trackable, not anecdotal.
- Surface actionable feedback. File detailed, prioritized issues — not just “this is broken” but “here’s what should happen, why, and how it affects the user.”
• Write improvement specs. Translate usage observations into clear specifications that the CTO can build from. Product thinking grounded in real experience, not abstract strategy.
- Support client delivery. Assist the CEO and her team on delivery tasks. This grounds you in the real challenges of using the product with clients — the best source of quality insights. EXAMPLE PROJECTS
• Run 10 simulation sessions end-to-end, document every friction point, and propose a prioritized fix list
• Build a product quality scorecard with defined metrics and run the first baseline audit
• Use the Qlue Agent on a real client brief, identify where the output falls short, and write up specific improvement recommendations
• Support the CEO on a client delivery, then translate the pain points into a build-ready spec
• Audit AI-generated output quality across different use cases and define quality benchmarks WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Someone who naturally goes deep on products — the person who finds every edge case, notices every inconsistency
• Analytical mindset — comfortable with data, can define and track product quality metrics
• Strong written communicator — can articulate what's wrong and what should be different with enough clarity to build from
• Exposure to B2 B Saa S, ideally in research, analytics, or AI space
• Exposure to market research or consumer insights is a solid plus
• Independent and self-directed — surfaces issues and improvement opportunities proactively, doesn't wait for assignments
• Uses AI tools as a daily collaborator
• Prior startup experience is a plus HOW WE'LL WORK
• You use the product regularly on real workflows — every working day starts with hands-on usage
• You log structured feedback after each session — what worked, what didn't, what's missing
• You maintain a quality scorecard and run regular audits — quality is measured, not assumed
• When something is wrong, you articulate what it should be — not just the bug, but the intent
• Weekly sync with founders to review findings and align priorities; day-to-day communication is async via Slack
• Your feedback directly shapes what gets built — quality issues get acted on fast WHY JOIN
