Artist Outreach&Onboarding Intern (Music Industry) Remote | Internship | Unpaid | SoundSpire About SoundSpire SoundSpire is building the future of artist-owned superfandom. We're creating a platform where artists can build communities, engage directly with fans, and monetize through exclusive content, music drops, memberships, and direct-to-fan experiences. We're looking for someone who is passionate about music, enjoys connecting with people, and wants hands-on experience working with artists and the music industry.What You'll Do Artist Research&Discovery * Identify and research independent and emerging artists across genres * Build and maintain artist databases * Track artist growth, activity, and engagement metrics * Identify potential partnerships and onboarding opportunities Artist Outreach * Reach out to artists, managers, and teams via email, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other channels* Introduce artists to SoundSpire and communicate our value proposition * Schedule discovery calls and onboarding conversations * Follow up with leads and maintain outreach pipelines Onboarding Support * Assist artists during the onboarding process * Help collect required information and assets* Ensure profiles and accounts are set up correctly * Act as a point of contact for onboarding-related queries CRM&Relationship Management * Maintain accurate records of conversations and outreach efforts * Track pipeline progress and onboarding status * Organize artist information and documentation * Generate simple reports on outreach performance Market Research * Monitor trends in the music industry and creator economy* Research competitors, platforms, and artist monetization strategies * Identify opportunities for SoundSpire's growth and partnerships Who We're Looking For * Passionate about music and the music industry * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Comfortable reaching out to new people and starting conversations* Organized and detail-oriented * Self-motivated and able to work independently * Quick learner who takes ownership of tasks * Familiar with Google Sheets, Excel, Notion, or similar tools Bonus Points * Experience in artist management, music marketing, A&R, or creator partnerships * Familiarity with CRM tools * Existing knowledge of independent music ecosystems * Active involvement in music communities What You'll Gain * Direct exposure to the music industry and artist ecosystem * Hands-on experience in artist relations, partnerships, and growth* Experience working inside an early-stage music technology startup * Ownership of meaningful work and projects * Internship Completion Certificate * Letter of Recommendation (based on performance) * Consideration for future paid opportunities Duration 3–6 Months Location Remote Commitment10–15 Hours Per Week Reporting To Founder&CEO If you're excited about the future of music, creators, and fan communities, we'd love to hear from you.
