AutoCAD DRAFTS -Mechanical / Electrical (Industrial & Electromechanical Drawings) Company: Precision Spares Mfg. Co. (PSMC) Location: Kolkata (On-site Only) Employment Type: Full-time Working Days: Monday – Saturday Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM Experience Required: 6 months – 2 years of relevant industrial experience (Mandatory) Salary: ₹20,000 per month (Fixed for baseline qualification) About the Role Precision Spares Mfg. Co. (PSMC) is seeking a hands-on AutoCAD & SolidWorks Engineer with proven experience in industrial mechanical and electrical drawings. This role is strictly for professionals who can independently measure, analyze, model, and draft real industrial components. The selected candidate must be capable of working independently from day one. This is an on-site position only. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available. Core Responsibilities
- Independently prepare accurate 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Create:
- General Arrangement (G.A.) drawings
- Part drawings
- Assembly drawings
- Sectional views and projections
- Physically measure electromechanical and industrial spares including:
- Motor components (DE & NDE shields)
- Shafts, pulleys, couplings, gears
- Electrical insulators and components
- Other mechanical and industrial spare parts
- Use precision measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Calipers
- Micrometers
- Convert physical measurements and sketches into fully dimensioned engineering drawings
- Ensure compliance with tolerances, fits, scales (mm), and manufacturing standards
- Revise drawings based on engineering or client feedback
- Participate in site visits for measurement, inspection, and technical documentation (travel expenses covered) Mandatory Skills (Non-Negotiable)
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and SolidWorks
- Ability to create part and assembly models in SolidWorks independently
- Experience generating drawings directly from 3D models
- Proven hands-on experience measuring physical components
- Clear understanding of:
- Dimensions, tolerances, and fits
- Sectional views and projections
- Industrial drawing standards
- Ability to work without supervision or training
- Professional demeanor and formal office attire required Interview Process Candidates must appear in person between 01:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Saturday) with:
- Updated resume
- Sample AutoCAD drawings (mandatory)
- SolidWorks part/assembly files created by the candidate (native format preferred) A short on-site drafting test will be conducted to assess SolidWorks and measurement competency. Remote interviews will not be scheduled. Preferred Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / BE (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Experience in fabrication, manufacturing drawings, steel plants, power sector, or heavy industries Additional Information
- MSME SSI unit (under 9 employees)
- PF and ESI not provided
- Performance review after first month
- 2–5 year contract may be offered based on performance evaluation
- Annual increment: 5–10% based on performance

- Do you have at least 2 years of hands-on, relevant experience in industrial mechanical/electrical drawings?
