About the Role We are looking for a hands-on Web Engineering Manager to lead a mid-sized, high-performing team of backend, frontend, and QA engineers. The ideal candidate has strong experience in modern web technologies, Sitecore CMS, and building large-scale distributed web platforms. This role requires a balance of technical leadership, people management, and the ability to drive long-term technology direction while ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery. You should be passionate about building exceptional engineering teams, creating up-to-date user experiences, and solving complex problems with clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and mentor a blended team of backend, frontend and QA engineers.
- Participate directly in hands-on technical work and guide end-to-end feature development using Sitecore, React, and Node.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across engineering and business teams.
- Champion the adoption and internal evangelization of the web framework including Sitecore and experimentation platforms.
- Define and drive long-term technical direction, architectural decisions, and technology strategy.
- Support hiring by partnering with recruiters to attract, interview, and onboard top engineering talent.
- Ensure high productivity, strong delivery standards, and smooth sprint planning and release execution.
- Improve engineering processes, tools, and infrastructure to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Make clear and timely decisions when requirements are ambiguous and help unblock the team.
- Produce reliable, scalable, and high-performance web services and platform components.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5 plus years of experience in software development with strong exposure to web platforms or full-stack engineering.
