· Mid-Senior to Senior ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring an INx SQL Administrator for a focused 3–6 month contract engagement. The business runs its core operations on INx SQL, and they need someone who genuinely knows the platform to take full ownership of it — keep it stable, keep it clean, and make it work harder. This isn't a generic ERP support seat. It's a high-ownership engagement where you'll be the single person the business turns to for anything INx SQL. You'll join through Vira Work X, where we connect companies with pre-vetted engineering talent and onboard fast — typically within 48 hours. We handle the contracting and logistics so you can focus entirely on the work. WHAT YOU'LL OWN End-to-end ownership of the INx SQL setting, across three fronts: Administration — manage users, roles, and security; handle version upgrades and patches; keep system performance and data integrity solid. Implementation — support setup, configuration, and any migration work the engagement calls for. Build — create and refine custom reports, support integrations with adjacent systems, and act as the go-to resource for users who need the platform to do something it isn't doing yet. Where processes are manual or fragile, you'll be the one who proposes the better way — and then implements it. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We need someone who has actually administered INx SQL — not adjacent ERP experience, but hands-on time with this platform, ideally in a metals, wire/cable, or industrial distribution context. You should be strong with SQL Server, confident writing and troubleshooting queries, and senior enough to make sound calls without hand-holding. Because you'll work asynchronously with a US-based team, clear written communication and proactive updates are part of the job, not a nice-to-have. Signals of a great fit: 5+ years across ERP administration and database support Prior experience supporting distribution or manufacturing operations A track record of cleaning up systems other people had let drift Direct experience with INx SQL upgrades, customizations, or migrations (a strong plus) ENGAGEMENT DETAILS This is a 3–6 month contract with potential to extend based on results.
