Backend Engineer – Node.js (4+ Years Experience) As a Backend Engineer, you’ll design and scale the core infrastructure powering AI-driven content generation workflows used by 30,000+ teams. You’ll work on high-performance APIs, distributed systems, and scalable backend services handling video, transcription, and AI inference workloads at scale. What You’ll Do ⚙️ Backend System Development Design and develop scalable APIs and microservices using Node.js and TypeScript Build reliable backend systems powering AI-driven content generation pipelines Own features end-to-end from architecture and development to deployment ???? Data & Compute Architecture Architect and optimize backend workflows for video processing and transcription Build scalable systems supporting AI inference workloads Ensure systems handle high throughput with low latency ???? Platform Integrations Develop and maintain integrations with Confluence, Notion, and Google Docs Design clean and scalable REST APIs for seamless third-party connectivity ???? Reliability & Performance Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of systems serving 30,000+ teams Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for production-grade reliability Debug production issues and continuously improve system robustness ☁️ Cloud & Infrastructure Deploy and manage backend services on AWS, GCP, or Azure Work with containerized deployments, distributed systems, and scalable cloud infrastructure Contribute to architectural decisions for scaling backend systems ✅ You’re a Great Fit If You Have 4+ years of experience building and operating production backend systems Are highly proficient in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript Have experience designing scalable APIs and backend services Have hands-on experience with MongoDB and strong database design fundamentals Understand distributed systems and microservices architecture Have experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure Can write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code Have prior startup experience (preferred) Have exposure to AI-driven automation workflows (a plus) ✨ Why Join Us?
