Accountant (Thiruvanmiyur)

Job Description: Accountant We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily accounting activities, with a solid focus on payment collection, customer follow-ups, bank visits, and financial record keeping. Key Responsibilities
- Follow up with customers, dealers, and clients for pending payments.
- Collect cash, cheques, and payment confirmations.
- Visit banks for deposits, cheque clearance, documentation, and account-related work.
- Maintain daily collection reports, customer ledgers, and payment records.
- Reconcile payments with invoices, receipts, and bank statements.
- Coordinate with the sales team regarding overdue payments and customer balances.
- Report delayed payments, bounced cheques, and collection issues to management.
- Maintain proper filing of bank slips, receipts, invoices, and financial documents.
- Handle GST, TDS/TCS, income tax filing support, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain tax records, reconcile tax ledgers, and coordinate with auditors/tax consultants.
- Ensure timely tax payments, return filing, and proper documentation of compliance records. Requirements
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- Experience in accounting, collections, or banking work preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Tally/accounting software and MS Excel.
- Good communication, follow-up, and documentation skills.
- Honest, responsible, and accurate in handling cash and financial records. Application Question(s):
