Machine Room Operator Company: B-One Business House Pvt. Ltd. Location: Bhubaneswar / Balasore (B-One Processing Unit) Industry: Seafood Processing / Cold Storage Open Positions: 01 Role Objective B-One Business House Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a diligent and technically sound Machine Room Operator to join our seafood processing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the seamless operation of plant machinery and refrigeration systems, ensuring that our cold chain and production standards are consistently maintained. Key Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Operate and monitor industrial refrigeration systems and plant machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform basic troubleshooting to prevent operational downtime.
- Equipment Reliability: Ensure all machinery functions smoothly and efficiently in accordance with production requirements.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to operational safety protocols and maintain high standards of workplace safety.
- Inter-departmental Coordination: Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule repairs and report any technical discrepancies immediately.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of machinery performance and temperature settings. Candidate Profile
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in seafood processing, cold storage, or industrial refrigeration operations.
- Education: ITI Certification or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with ammonia-based refrigeration systems or IQF machinery is highly preferred.
- Attributes: Robust attention to detail, proactive attitude toward equipment maintenance, and the ability to work in shifts.
