- Contingent Contract
- Onsite role based in Gondia, India
- Flight Data Recorder (FDR) Monitoring
- Collect, process, analyze, and securely store Flight Data Recorder (FDR) data for all company aircraft on a routine basis.
- Analyze every sortie and immediately report violations of rules, SOPs, or major flying errors to the Safety Manager.
- Identify adverse safety trends or deviations and escalate them appropriately.
- Identify repeated deviations by cadets/instructors and report to the Safety Manager.
- Assist the Safety Manager in pilot debriefings when flight data highlights issues requiring further discussion.
- Generate and distribute daily deviation reports to the Safety Manager, CFI/Dy CFI, and instructors.
- Prepare consolidated monthly FDR summaries for the Safety Manager.
- Support incident and occurrence investigations by providing detailed FDR data analysis.
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly Trend Analysis Data. Safety Monitoring & Support (in absence of FSO / Asst FSO)
- Assist the Safety Manager in monitoring the timely and effective implementation of safety recommendations.
- Prepare safety‑related data and documentation for the Accountable Manager and Safety Manager for SRB meetings.
- Support the execution of periodic safety surveys and document findings.
- Assist in developing and distributing safety promotion materials (posters, presentations, newsletters, magazine content).
- Deliver periodic safety briefings on relevant flight‑safety topics.
- Facilitate and coordinate meetings of the local Safety Action Groups (SAGs).
- Monitor local aviation safety issues and environmental factors that may impact operations.
- Support the preparation and delivery of safety presentations for internal and CAE audiences.
- Conduct daily safety oversight activities at ATC facilities and hangars, reporting observations and events through the Centrik system. Continuity & Delegated Duties
- In the absence of the SM/FSO, continue to perform assigned duties under supervision without implementing policy changes.
- Execute additional tasks assigned by the Safety Manager or Accountable Manager. Authority
- Authorized to collect, analyze, and securely store FDR data for all aircraft.
- Authorized to conduct analysis of specific sorties upon instruction from the AM or SM. Accountability
- Accountable to the Safety Manager for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all FDR analyses.
- Responsible for safeguarding confidentiality and security of FDR data.
- Accountable for the performance and coordination of additional FDR analysts, if applicable. Minimum Qualifications
- Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret complex flight data accurately.
- Solid understanding of aviation safety principles, SOPs, and flight operations.
- Excellent communication skills for briefings and report writing.
- Ability to work collaboratively across safety, training, operations, and management teams.
- High sense of responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality awareness. Preferred Qualifications
- 0 to 5 years of relevant experience.
