HR Manager (Bidhannagar)

Location: Kolkata Employment Type: Full-Time Age Criteria: 30–35 Years Sylvan Ply (India) Limited is looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of Human Resources operations. The candidate will be responsible for recruitment, employee engagement, payroll coordination, attendance management, policy implementation, performance management, compliance, and overall HR administration to support organizational growth and employee satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
- Handle employee relations, grievance resolution, and disciplinary matters.
- Monitor attendance, leave records, and payroll coordination.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Coordinate performance appraisal and employee development programs.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Support management in workforce planning and organizational development.
- Conduct employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports, MIS, and monthly manpower analysis.
- Coordinate with different departments for smooth HR operations.
- Manage exit formalities and full & final settlements. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- MBA/PGDHRM preferred.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and HRMIS systems.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience Required
- Minimum 7 years of experience in HR operations and recruitment.
- Experience in manufacturing/FMCG/plywood industry will be preferred. Preferred Qualities
