Senior Accountant (Bidhannagar)

About the Role RGC is looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong practical knowledge of accounting operations along with the ability to independently handle statutory and management reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Handling complete books of accounts in Tally/ERP
- Preparation and finalization of financial statements
- GST compliance including return filing, reconciliation, and notices handling
- TDS calculation, deduction, return filing, and reconciliation
- Income Tax compliance and support during assessments/audits
- Bank reconciliation and cash flow monitoring
- Ledger scrutiny and periodic account reconciliation
- Vendor and customer account management
- Preparation of MIS reports and management reports
- Monitoring receivables, payables, and working capital
- Coordination with auditors, consultants, and management
- Ensuring statutory compliance under GST, Income Tax, and MCA requirements
- Assisting management in budgeting and financial planning Desired Candidate Profile
- Robust practical knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
- Hands-on experience in Tally and MS Excel
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and MCA compliances
- Experience in manufacturing or trading company preferred
- Ability to independently manage accounting operations
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Business acumen and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple assignments
- Minimum Experience of 5 Years for the same Kind of Role Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred
- Additional qualified exposure in taxation and compliance will be an advantage Pay: ₹40,000.00
