Software Testing Engineer (Bidhannagar)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester with strong experience in manual and/or automated testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of testing methodologies, be able to identify bugs efficiently, and ensure high-quality product delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and/or automated testing on web and mobile applications
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and test plans
- Identify, document, and track bugs and issues
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects
- Conduct regression, functional, and performance testing
- Ensure software meets quality standards before release
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience with test case creation and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium or similar) is a plus
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Basic understanding of programming languages (Java, Python, etc.)
- Experience with performance or security testing is a plus Soft Skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
