Role Description

This is a full-time Mechanical Engineer role based in office.

The Mechanical Engineer will play a key role in designing and overseeing site fabrication activities, equipment installation, project commissioning and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering

Excellent knowledge of materials and fittings for quality control

At least 3 years prior experience in greenfield project construction and commissioning

Solid skills in Project Management and team collaboration

Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in industrial environments

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;

Ability to work in an in office, fast-paced industrial setting

Responsibilities

Equipment Design & Selection

Design or specify pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, tanks, and columns

Select pumps, compressors, agitators, valves, and rotating equipment

Ensure equipment meets process requirements (pressure, temperature, corrosion, flow)

Mechanical Calculations

Pressure & vacuum design

Thermal expansion and stress analysis

Nozzle loads and equipment supports
