JOB DESCRIPTION – Senior Accounts Manager Department: Accounts / Finance / Export–Import Compliance Industry: Pharma API Manufacturing Location: Ankleshwar GIDC, Bharuch, Gujarat Experience: 7–10+ Years (Preferably in Pharma API / Chemical Manufacturing) Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance / CA Inter Gender: Male / Female (Preferred – due to plant coordination & long-hour activities) Age Range: 30 – 45 Years Salary Range: ₹6.00 LPA – ₹12.00 LPA (Based on export experience, audit exposure & software skills) Position Summary We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Accounts Manager with robust expertise in Accounting, Finance, GST, Ledger Management, Export–Import Documentation, Banking, Audits, Tally ERP, and ERP/CRM Pharma Software. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Export Accounts, Merchant Export Documentation, Letter of Credit (LC), Banking Negotiation, and Statutory Compliance relevant to Pharma API manufacturing. Key Responsibilities1. Accounts & Finance Management
- Manage complete accounting cycle including AR, AP, general ledger, and banking.
- Daily posting, reconciliation & monitoring of ledgers in Tally ERP Prime.
- Prepare Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow, MIS Reports, Costing Sheets.
- Maintain statutory books of accounts as per Company Act & GST rules.
- Monitor payment terms with suppliers, transporters, service providers, etc. 2. Export Documentation & Merchant Export Operations (Very Important for API Industry)
- Prepare and verify all Export Documentation:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin
- Export Declaration
- Performa Invoice
- LC Documentation
- Pre/Post Shipment Documents
- Marine Insurance Documents
- Third-Party Manufacturer / Merchant Exporter documentation
- Coordinate with CHA, Freight Forwarders, Transporters, Bank, DGFT.
- Filing of EDI shipping bill, HS Code validation, MEIS/RODTEP documentation.
- Export Incentive Claim knowledge preferred. 3. Import Documentation (If Required)
- Handle Bill of Entry, Import Packing List, Insurance, CHA coordination.
- Knowledge of advance license, EPCG, import duty structure preferred. 4. GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and annual returns.
- Reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B and purchase records.
- Manage TDS deductions, filing returns & Form 16A issuance.
- Knowledge of IGST refund on exports, LUT handling, E-way bills. 5. Banking & Finance Coordination
- Manage bank reconciliation, forex remittances, advance payments.
- Prepare documentation for Letter of Credit, Bank Guarantee, Packing Credit.
- Coordinate with bank for export payment realization (FIRC/BRC).
- Track export receivables and follow-up for timely payments. 6. ERP / CRM Pharma Software Usage (Mandatory)
- Work on ERP or CRM software (SAP, Tally ERP Prime, Spectrum ERP, or Pharma-specific ERP).
- Maintain:
- Customer master & vendor master
- Invoice entries
- Batch-wise costing
- Export order entries
- Payment terms & credit limits
- Maintain financial audit trails and ensure data integrity. 7. Audit Handling
- Prepare internal & statutory audit documentation.
- Manage stock audit, ledger verification, expense audits.
- Provide complete support to auditors with required data. 8. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Production, QA, Sales, Purchase, Warehouse & Export Teams.
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly MIS reports to Management.
- Support MD/Owner in financial planning, budgeting & cost optimization. Required SkillsTechnical Skills
- Expert knowledge of Accounting, Tally ERP, GST, TDS, Banking & Finance.
- Strong command of Export–Import Documentation (API focus).
- Ability to handle LC, BG, Remittances, Forex, CHA, DGFT work.
- Working experience with ERP/CRM pharma systems.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Reporting).
- Understanding of costing for API manufacturing preferred. Soft Skills
- Strong communication & coordination skills.
- Problem-solving approach, negotiation ability with banks/CHA.
- Accurate documentation & attention to detail.
- Leadership qualities for handling accounts team (if needed). Experience Required
- Minimum 7–10+ years in Accounts/Finance department.
