Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

1 Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.

2 Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.

3 Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.

4 Follow industry and organizational safety protocols meticulously.

5 Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams for seamless operations.

6 Keep detailed maintenance logs and documentation.

7 Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards.

8 Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

9 Electrical substation maintenance and electrical meter readings on daily basis.

10 Performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on high and low voltage DC.

11 Perform inspection on high voltage switches and transformers.

12 Process control instrumentation, PLC trouble shooting, motor/gear box.

13 Daily Reporting to Supervisor and follow instructions.

14 Proper maintenance of plant lighting system.

15 Proper maintenance of DG system and fuel Management.

16 Daily updates from DGVCL or any planned shut down

17 Training and guiding other electricians to carry out specific tasks.

18 Use always PPES during Performing job.

19 Maintenance of electrical earth pits on weakly basis.

20 Inspect electrical component to identify hazards, defects and need for adjustment or Repair.

Qualifications:


• ITI degree in electrician or Diploma in electrical.

• 2 TO 3 years of experience in similar field.
