Site Engineer (Boiler Repair & Maintenance) Experience: 1–5 Years Location: As per project/site requirements Industry: Boiler Maintenance, Power Plant, Steel Plant, Industrial Projects Job Summary We are looking for a Site Engineer with 1–5 years of experience in boiler repair, maintenance, shutdown activities, and project execution. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, coordinating manpower, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and maintaining project schedules for boiler maintenance and repair works. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise boiler repair, maintenance, erection, and shutdown activities at project sites.
- Monitor daily work progress and ensure completion as per project schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and site teams for smooth execution of work.
- Inspect boiler components such as tubes, headers, ducts, structures, valves, and piping systems.
- Prepare daily progress reports, work completion reports, and material requirement reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Manage manpower deployment and monitor productivity at site.
- Conduct site measurements and assist in estimation and billing activities.
- Identify technical issues and coordinate corrective actions.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance and repair activities. Required Skills
- Knowledge of boiler maintenance, repair, and shutdown activities.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, P&ID;, and fabrication drawings.
- Familiarity with welding, piping, and structural works.
- Strong communication and team coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and report preparation.
- Ability to work independently at project sites. Qualification
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. Preferred Experience
- Experience in thermal power plants, steel plants, sponge iron plants, cement plants, or industrial boiler projects.
- Knowledge of IBR standards and industrial safety practices will be an added advantage. Benefits
