Boiler Operator (Construction & Manufacturing Jobs), Nilgiris

We are looking for Boiler Operator with certification for our Tea Industry based at The Nilgiris.

The primary responsibilities of Junior Boiler Operator includes

Role & responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high pressure boilers and auxiliary boiler plant equipment, Centrifugal chillers, towers and related pumps
• Perform routine boiler inspections and data collection as required by operating schedule
• Ability to analyze problems / failures and respond to restore, repair and or report
• Perform routine boiler feed water treatment analysis and add treatment chemicals as needed
• Inspect and monitor fuel feed system equipment, gauge and adjust fuel mixture ratio as required to maintain efficient combustion and furnace operation
• Clean water system operation
• Maintain daily logs and equipment logs

Preferred candidate profile

• Applicants must have Diploma and licensed in 1 / 2 class Boiler Operator
• Minimum 5 years of experience after obtaining Boiler operator license with the industrial sector
• Proven experience as a Boiler Operator or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with boiler safety regulations and procedures.
