Weld Shop Incharge (Manesar)

Role & responsibilities
- Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
- Instruct the welding personnel, coordinate jobs, evaluate job performance, etc.
- Understand the specifications and drawings such as applying specifications, reading drawings along with knowledge of welding terminology, and welding symbols.
- Maintain production line as required
- Train operators/welders as required and ensure productivity
- Maintain quality of the welding process
- Develop & maintain requisite production and quality processes/documents etc of the Weld Shop Preferred candidate profile
- Proven experience of 6-10 years as welder and 2-3 years as supervisor.
- Experience using a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Positive knowledge of welding and base materials.
- Experience with the welding, cutting equipment, brazing, knowledge of theory, and applications.
- Monitoring and knowledge of safety measures.
