Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager for our nutraceutical manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and adherence to GMP, FSSAI, and other industry standards throughout the manufacturing and packaging processes. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control systems, SOPs, and quality assurance protocols for nutraceutical products.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Monitor raw materials, in-process products, finished goods, and packaging materials for quality compliance.
- Supervise laboratory testing, stability studies, and documentation activities.
- Conduct internal audits, vendor audits, and quality inspections.
- Investigate deviations, non-conformities, customer complaints, and implement CAPA.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, Procurement, and Regulatory teams to maintain quality standards.
- Maintain quality records, certificates of analysis (COA), batch manufacturing records, and audit documentation.
- Lead training sessions for staff on quality systems, hygiene, and compliance requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for product quality and operational excellence. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food supplement industry.
- Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations, GMP, GLP, HACCP, and ISO standards.
- Experience in handling analytical instruments and laboratory operations.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong documentation and communication abilities. Preferred Skills
- Experience with regulatory audits and certifications.
- Knowledge of herbal extracts, dietary supplements, and nutraceutical formulations.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software.
- Six Sigma or ISO certification is an added advantage. Pay: ₹20,143.03
