Sr. Executive Supply Chain-Racking, Bhiwandi

Job Description Procurement&Sourcing Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for racking systems and related components. Float RFQs, perform technical/commercial comparisons, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms. Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules and installation timelines. Develop alternate supplier base for cost, quality, and risk mitigation.Supply Chain&Logistics Coordination Plan material requirements based on project demand and forecasts. Track production, dispatch, transportation, and ensure timely delivery. Coordinate inbound logistics, customs compliance, freight, and storage. Inventory&Material Management Monitor stock levels of racking components and hardware. Optimize inventory cost while ensuring availability. Coordinate with warehouse teams for accurate stock posting. Vendor&Quality Management Conduct supplier audits for quality and compliance. Ensure materials meet engineering specifications and standards. Resolve delivery discrepancies and quality issues. CrossFunctional Collaboration Work with design teams to understand BOM and specs. Support project managers with procurement planning.Coordinate with finance for budgeting and invoice settlement. Required Skills&Competencies Technical Skills Strong knowledge of racking systems and structural components. Understanding of engineering drawings, BOM, and specs. Proficiency in ERP systems. Soft Skills Strong negotiation skills. Analytical and problem-solving mindset. Excellent communication and coordination abilities.Qualifications&Experience Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain preferred. 3-5 years of procurement or supply chain experience, preferably in racking systems or industrial equipment. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Cost savings achieved. Ontime delivery performance. Inventory accuracy and turnover.Supplier performance metrics.
