Job Title Lathe Machine Operator Location Sehore Industry Pump Manufacturing Electromechanical Engineering Department Machine Shop Production Key Responsibilities Operate conventional lathe machines to shape metal components like pump shafts sleeves or impellers Interpret mechanical drawings and job sheets to understand dimensions and tolerances Perform turning facing threading boring and grooving operations Select and install appropriate tools jaws and cutting parameters Inspect and measure finished parts using micrometers vernier calipers and gauges Perform daily maintenance of lathe machine and ensure proper lubrication Ensure quality control and report any defects or deviations to the supervisor Requirements ITI 1-10 years of experience operating manual lathe machines Solid understanding of mechanical symbols tolerances and materials Prior experience in pump gearbox motor industry preferred Ability to handle machine precision work and work in fast-paced setups Salary Range 10 000
