- Head of Software Development / Technical ArchitectLooking for a hands-on technical architect who can help convert a product vision into a scalable, well-structured technology roadmap. We are building a portfolio of high-quality consumer facing apps across multiple categories in recreation space.Remuneration: Rs 1.60 Lakhs per monthFormat: Remote, Part TimeTimings: FlexibleRole OverviewWe are looking for a senior technical leader who can guide the development of multiple mobile apps, which are Unity and non Unity based (Native). The person should be able to architect shared systems, evaluate developers, review technical decisions, and help build a strong foundation for launch and scale.This is a senior advisory/leadership role suited for someone who has built real consumer/mobile products and can work closely with a non-technical founder.Ideal ProfileExperience with Unity/mobile games is a strong plus, but not mandatory if you can evaluate and guide Unity developers well.8+ years of engineering experience, preferably in consumer mobile apps, gaming, subscription apps, or startup products.Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, backend systems, cloud services, APIs, authentication, payments, analytics, and app releases.Has shipped real Android/iOS products, not just prototypes.Comfortable working with small teams and early-stage product ambiguity.Can communicate clearly with founder and translate ideas into technical plans.Practical thinker who balances speed, cost, quality, and scalability.Hands-on enough to review code, assess developers, and challenge poor technical decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine the technical architecture for multiple mobile apps/games.Design shared systems for login, user profiles, points/rewards, subscriptions, payments, analytics, notifications, and game progress.Guide Unity (& Android), backend, and mobile developers on technical structure and implementation.Help decide the right tech stack across Unity, backend, cloud, analytics, and app releases.Review code quality, project structure, scalability, security, and performance.Create simple technical documentation, architecture notes, release checklists, and development roadmaps.Help interview and evaluate Unity developers, backend engineers, freelancers, and agencies.Identify technical risks early and prevent poor architecture or unnecessary over-engineering.Support Play Store/App Store readiness, including analytics, crash reporting, build quality, and release processes.Positive BackgroundsEx-founder CTO / startup CTOSenior technical architectFounding engineerHead of engineeringSenior full-stack/mobile architectProduct-minded principal engineerSenior mobile/backend engineer with startup experienceEngagement TypeFractional / part-time / consulting role initially.Remote or hybrid possible.Engagement can expand depending on fit and project requirements.What We ValueHigh aptitude, clarity of thought, practical judgment, ownership, honesty, and the ability to build systems that remain maintainable as the product portfolio grows.Interested candidates can DM with a brief note about products they have shipped, architecture work they have led, and mobile/app/game experience.
