Job Description: Editor– Entertainment Content (Remote) Position: Editor – Entertainment Genre Experience Required: 2–3 Years Work Mode: Remote About the Role We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Editor with experience in the entertainment industry, especially in US TV soaps/serials, shows, and entertainment content. The ideal candidate should have strong editorial judgment, research capabilities, and the ability to manage and guide the content team while maintaining quality and deadlines.Key Responsibilities Edit, proofread, and publish entertainment-related content with high accuracy and quality. Handle and manage a team of writers/content creators focused on soap operas, US TV shows and celebrity news, OTT content, and entertainment updates. Write and edit entertainment news articles, features, and trending stories.Experience in script writing for entertainment-based content, video scripts, or show recaps. Ensure content follows editorial guidelines, tone, and publishing standards. Conduct in-depth research on entertainment trends, TV shows, celebrities, and industry updates. Create engaging headlines, summaries, and story angles for audience engagement.Coordinate with writers and provide feedback to improve content quality Fact-check information and ensure authenticity before publication. Stay updated with ongoing entertainment trends and audience interests. Requirements 2–3 years of experience in editorial/content editing within the entertainment genre.Strong understanding of US TV soaps, shows, entertainment news, OTT content, and celebrity culture. Experience in news writing and script writing is mandatory. Excellent editing, proofreading, and grammar skills. Experience handling or mentoring a content team. Strong research and analytical abilities.Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage deadlines efficiently. Familiarity with CMS platforms and digital publishing workflows is a plus. Preferred Skills Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to identify trending entertainment topics quickly. Knowledge of SEO content optimization is an advantage.Creative mindset with attention to detail.
