Production Operator Trainee / Machine Operator (Madhya Pradesh)

Role Purpose The Production Operator Trainee will be responsible for operating manufacturing machines, ensuring product quality, maintaining machine health, and supporting production targets while following MAHLEs safety, quality, and TPM standards. Key Responsibilities 1. Report to the production line 5 minutes before the shift starts (rotational shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd). 2. Attend the daily morning meeting and understand the production targets for the shift. 3. Ensure the availability of Control Plans and SOPs at the workstation for running components (e.g., Camshafts) and inform the Shift Supervisor if missing. 4. Check availability of the Daily Operator Checklist, update machine checklist, and undergo training provided by the Supervisor. 5. Operate machines by loading and unloading components and perform required inspections as allocated by the Team Leader/Supervisor. 6. Operate multiple machines as per the defined man–machine ratio. 7. Immediately stop the machine and inform the Team Leader or Supervisor in case of abnormalities or defects. 8. Carry out tool changes as per defined tool life, perform inspections, and update relevant records. 9. Work closely with setters and understand machine settings as required. 10. Continue operations if the next shift reliever is absent, as per instructions. 11. Adhere strictly to the 30-minute lunch break policy. 12. Ensure machine cleaning at the end of the shift before handing over to the next operator. 13. Participate in Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities with the TPM team. 14.
