Job Title: Design Specialist – FTTx / OSP Engineering Position Overvie
- wWe are seeking a skilled FTTx / OSP Design Specialist to create comprehensive fiber-to-the-premisesnetwork designs for telecommunications infrastructure. This role includes end-to-end network design from the central office to the customer premise, covering feeder routes, distribution networks, splice planning, and civil infrastructure layouts. The specialist will be responsible for generating accurate, compliant, and scalable networkdesigns aligned withclient and engineering standards Key Responsibiliti es Network Planning s Architecture Design — P408 Fiber Distribution Planni
- ng Design fiber distribution plans from FDH (Fiber Distribution Hub) to entire FSA coverage area
- s. Place centralized MPT (Multi-Port Terminals) and splice locations strategically throughout service area
- s. Calculate meterage for existing underground duct infrastructure (MH to MH
- ). Assess rod and rope requirements for existing conduit capacit
- y. Produce P408 design drawings in CAD and PDF formats for review and approva l.FDH Site Selection s Placeme
- nt Analyze feeder routes and FSA requirements to determine optimal FDH placemen
- t. Evaluate and propose three suitable FDH locations for client revie

- ence3 to 10 years of experience in FTTx/OSP network design, fiber planning, or telecom infrastructure des
- ign. Hands-on experience preparing P408, feeder, and distribution fiber designs in CAD/GIS environme
- nts. Experience working with utility datasets, fiber planning tools, and telecom network engineering standa
- rds. Prior experience in FDH placement, FSA planning, and pre-construction fiber analysis is a strong advant age. Required Skills s Qualifica
- tions Strong understanding of FTTx/OSP engineering concepts, fiber routing, duct/utility infrastructure, and network architec
