Description
Purpose/Objective The Lead
- Module Production is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the module production line, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. This role focuses on optimizing production processes, minimizing waste, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and achieving production goals. The Lead ensures smooth coordination between teams, manages resource allocation, and resolves production issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality modules. Key Responsibilities of Role Safety:
- Identify near misses and unsafe acts on the production floor to prevent fatalities and first aid cases by implementing corrective actions. PPE Compliance:
- Ensure full PPE compliance among all personnel to prevent safety incidents and maintain a safe working workplace. Production Planning:
- Ensure that MSEL module production aligns with budgeted targets by optimizing resources and minimizing production variances. Ensure stringer availability to meet OEE targets and maximize uptime. Oversee G2TBS to G2G conversion with minimal loss, achieving the specified throughput targets. Quality Control:
- Reduce pre-lam rework and R-grade defects in MSEL modules. Implement CAPA actions to reduce customer complaints and maintain AWMS scores above target. Cost Optimization:
- Reduce BOM wastage in POE/EPE and back sheet wastage in G2TBS pattern to optimize material usage and minimize costs. Quality Improvement:
- Work to reduce E-grade defects in the module line by improving production processes within the specified timeline. Quality Circle:
- Complete the required Quality Circle projects on time to address process inefficiencies and promote continuous improvement. TNI and Soft Skill/E-vidyalaya Training:
- Ensure compliance with TNI and Soft Skill/E-vidyalaya training requirements, providing timely feedback for development and performance improvement. Team Development:
- Provide regular feedback and identify training needs to support team and individual development. Innovation: Driving innovation in production processes and systems by identifying and implementing practical solutions to improve efficiency, product quality, and throughput. Staying updated on emerging trends and leveraging advanced manufacturing techniques to ensure the department maintains a competitive edge. Digitalization/Data-Driven Decision Making: Supporting the adoption and execution of digital tools, automation systems, and smart technologies to optimize production workflows and resource utilization. Using real-time data to monitor key performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and drive informed, proactive decisions for continuous improvement. Organizational & Culture Building: Building a team-oriented and agile work environment within production teams by encouraging open communication, teamwork, and accountability. Promoting a culture of continuous learning and innovation while aligning team efforts with organizational goals and values. Leadership in Change Management: Acting as a change champion to guide teams through technological and process transitions. Facilitating clear communication, providing hands-on support, and ensuring smooth adoption of new tools and systems while addressing challenges and promoting team adaptability. People Development:
- Leading from the front & being accountable for the professional growth of your teams. Developing/conducting/promoting training & learning initiatives to enhance skills & empowering them to take ownership of key processes and decisions.

- B. Tech/Diploma – Engineering or Manufacturing Technology.
- Desired Qualification: BE/B. Tech Work Experience (Range of years):
