Accounts Officer (Bidadi)

Role & responsibilities Accounting & Finance
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and book entries in ERP.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records, ledgers, and supporting schedules.
- Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and journal entries.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations periodically.
- Monitor receivables and payables and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing activities.
- Support preparation of audit schedules. GST Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns.
- Reconcile GST input tax credit with GSTR-2B and books of accounts.
- Coordinate with vendors/customers for GST-related issues and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with GST provisions and maintain proper documentation. TDS Compliance
- Deduct and account for TDS as per applicable provisions of the Income Tax Act.
- Prepare and file quarterly TDS returns within prescribed timelines.
- Reconcile TDS balances and ensure timely deposit of TDS liabilities.
- Issue TDS certificates and resolve vendor/customer queries related to TDS. Audit & Compliance
- Support statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit activities.
- Maintain proper records for statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate with consultants, auditors when required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies. Preferred candidate profile
- CA Inter candidates preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience in ERP systems such as Tally.
