The best brokers know how to evaluate risk, identify the right markets, prepare a solid submission, negotiate better outcomes, and guide customers through complexity. That expertise is powerful, but it is hard to scale.

Harness is building the intelligence layer for up-to-date brokerage.

We are building AI assistants for commercial insurance, a domain where reliability, judgment, and task completion matter. Our systems are designed to understand context, reason through workflows, take action, and help move real brokerage work forward.

Harness started in Jan, 2026. In five months, we grew 100x and reached $1M ARR. We are well-funded and still very early.

The Problem

Every business needs insurance, but commercial insurance is still slow, opaque, and operationally heavy.

A single account can involve multiple coverage lines, underwriting variables, fragmented carrier rules, pricing differences, state-specific requirements, documents, follow-ups, compliance steps, and negotiation. The hard part is not just collecting data

The Thesis

The next excellent insurance brokerage will not look like a traditional brokerage with a better CRM.

It will be built around AI assistants that understand context, make decisions, take action, and continuously improve from real workflows. Humans will still matter, but they should focus on judgment, relationships, exceptions, and customer outcomes
- not repetitive coordination, document prep, follow-ups, and manual routing.
