Job Title: Lab Technician – Building Material Testing Location: Korba Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are looking for a Lab Technician for Building Material Testing to conduct quality testing of construction materials such as cement, concrete, aggregates, and steel. The candidate will be responsible for performing standard tests and maintaining accurate records as per industry norms. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform tests on building materials such as cement, concrete, aggregates, bricks, and steel
- Conduct tests like compressive strength, slump test, sieve analysis, and water absorption
- Prepare samples and carry out laboratory analysis
- Record test results and maintain proper documentation
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and IS standards
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
- Assist in site testing if required
- Follow safety and quality guidelines
- He /She should have cement,TMT,steel,bricks,fky ash etc. Requirements:
- Diploma/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering or related field
- Basic knowledge of building material testing methods
- Freshers can apply
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of IS codes and construction standards
- Experience in lab or site testing (preferred)
