Job Title: HR Manager Location: Malad (West), Mumbai Experience: 3 Years to 6 Years Qualification: Graduate in any discipline Only Mumbai Suburban-based candidates apply for this Position (Bhayander to Dadar). We are 6 days working: Monday to Saturday Objective of the Role: The HR Manager will be responsible for driving HR Operations and overseeing Talent Acquisition (20%), while ensuring strong governance, compliance, employee engagement, and cultural alignment. The role demands hands-on expertise in HR operations, audit compliance (ISO, SOC 2), performance management, employee relations, and policy framing, along with the ability to leverage AI tools and HR chatbots for operational efficiency. Job Description: 1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management:
- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, role changes, and exits.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, HR MIS, and documentation.
- Oversee HR workflows to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for operational HR matters. 2. Policy Framework, Rules & Regulations:
- Address employee concerns and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Ensure policies are aligned with organizational goals, legal requirements, and compliance standards.
- Communicate policies effectively and ensure organization-wide adherence.
- Periodically review policies to support evolving business and workforce needs. 3. Compliance, Audit & Governance:
- Ensure HR compliance with ISO standards, SOC 2 controls, and other regulatory/audit requirements
- Prepare and maintain audit documentation, evidence registers, and compliance trackers.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits; ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Work closely with InfoSec, Legal, and Management teams to ensure governance alignment. 4. Performance Management System (PMS):
- Drive and manage the Performance Management process, including goal setting, reviews, appraisals, and feedback cycles.
- Ensure fair, transparent, and consistent performance evaluation practices.
- Support managers in performance discussions, improvement plans, and capability development.
- Track performance metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership. 5. Employee Relations & Conflict Resolution:
- Act as a trusted partner for employees and managers to address workplace concerns.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution with sensitivity and fairness.
- Ensure adherence to disciplinary processes, corrective actions, and documentation standards.
- Foster a positive and respectful work environment 6. Culture Building & Employee Engagement:
- Drive initiatives that strengthen organizational culture, values, and employee engagement.
- Promote collaboration, transparency, and ownership across teams.
- Support leadership in embedding cultural values into daily operations and people practices.
- Design and execute engagement initiatives aligned with company culture and growth goals. 7. Talent Acquisition Oversight:
- Oversee recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and hiring timelines.
- Guide recruiters on role requirements, interview frameworks, and hiring quality.
- Participate in final interviews for key positions and provide decision support.
- Monitor hiring metrics and continuously improve recruitment effectiveness. 8. HR Technology, AI & Automation:
- Leverage HRMS platforms, AI tools, and HR chatbots to streamline HR operations and employee support.
- Implement automation for onboarding, policy dissemination, employee queries, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to enhance HR efficiency through technology and digital tools. Skills & Competencies Functional & Technical Skills:
- Robust expertise in HR operations, compliance, audits, and governance.
- Practical exposure to ISO, SOC 2, and compliance-driven environments.
- Ability to design and enforce policies, SOPs, and internal regulations.
- Proficiency in HRMS, AI tools, and chatbot-enabled HR operations.
- Excellent documentation and process orientation. Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies:
