- Advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment About the Role Camera Engineer plays a key role in Development, Maintenance and Bug Fixing of Harman EVS Solution including Surround View and Camera frameworks in Android Automotive Environment. What You Will Do
- Develop new features and enhancements based on customer and market requirements.
- Delivery of the features in scope in scheduled time with defined quality.
- Report status, issues, and progress of the SW development at timely intervals to stakeholders.
- Ensure pre-integration testing and verification for the functional area and its features.
- Ensure the implementation of defined test strategies and document the achieved results.
- Interface with different teams to realize features, achieve stability and KPI metrics.
- Opportunity to work on latest Android Automotive Stack.
- To work on cutting edge technologies evolving in IVI, Digital Cockpit Systems.
- Exposure to entire software development cycle in Android IVI, Digital cockpit Systems.
- Opportunity to get deep insights into feature intricacies.
- Play a key role in improving overall efficiency by building robust platforms. What You Need to Be Successful
- 4+ years of development experience on embedded systems, with focus on Android Framework and Native development.
- Hands-on experience on EVS/Camera framework in Automotive.
- Understanding of Android Boot Sequence and various Framework module architecture.
- Experience in Android HIDL and AIDL interfaces implementation and customizations.
- Expertise in programing languages Java and C++ in Android contexts.
- Strong component level knowledge
- understanding of multi-core and multi-threaded challenges and middleware solution development on Android environment.
- Strong in fundamentals of IPC and OS concepts.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with minimal support and guidance with positive communication skills. Bonus Points if You Have
- Hands on experience on OPEN GL and EGL, Graphics subsystem is additional advantage.
- Experience in ADAS/Surround View is an added advantage.
