- Create pitch-perfect, cutting-edge technology that elevates the listening experience About the Role We are looking for a proactive and driven professional to build and maintain Bluetooth-connected JBL mobile applications for globally launched JBL consumer audio products. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and global R&D; stakeholders to deliver high-quality mobile application solutions. Robust problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a go-getter attitude are essential for success in this role. What You Will Do
- Design and develop robust BLE and BREDR Bluetooth communication solutions between Android applications and JBL speaker devices.
- Own the end-to-end Android application development lifecycle for consumer audio products.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly Android interfaces using MVVM architecture with Kotlin and Java in Android Studio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global R&D; teams, including firmware, hardware, and QA teams, to deliver features aligned with business and product requirements.
- Actively participate in agile development activities such as sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and code reviews to ensure timely delivery and continuous improvement.
- Utilize AI tools and modern development practices to enhance development efficiency and contribute to innovation initiatives within the Consumer Audio domain. What You Need to Be Successful
- 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Android application development.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Bluetooth application development, including BLE and BR/EDR protocol.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Android UI development.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across multiple Android devices and OS versions.
- Proficient in Android Studio, Kotlin, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of Java and web development technologies will be an added advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Bonus Points if You Have
- B.Tech, Master’s in Computer Science, or a related domain.
- Experience in leveraging AI tools to enhance development efficiency and innovation.
- Prior experience working in the Consumer Audio domain.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional global R&D; teams. What Makes You Eligible
