This is your daily contribution to an exceptional guest experience … Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of all engineering systems – HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical; Lead, schedule, and support the engineering team, ensuring effective coverage and high standards of work; Manage and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment, guest rooms, and public areas; Respond quickly to maintenance requests or emergencies, minimising disruption to operations and guests; Collaborate with department heads to support operational needs and ensure seamless service delivery; Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as legal and brand requirements; Manage contractors, service providers, and external inspections, ensuring quality and timely work; Monitor and optimise energy use, utilities, and maintenance budgets; Keep detailed maintenance records and assist with capital planning and project implementation; Train your team on safety, emergency procedures, and best practices.
