Role Description This is a full time, on-site Field Services Engineer role based in Chitradurga. The Field Services Engineer will perform routine and corrective maintenance on wind turbines and associated equipment, including inspections, mechanical adjustments, component replacements, and system calibrations. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and control system issues, and providing timely technical support at the turbine site. The engineer will document all service activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The position also requires engaging with customers on-site, addressing basic service-related queries, and coordinating with internal teams to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

Solid field service and on-site operations skills, including working at height and in varying weather conditions.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Experience with preventive maintenance practices for rotating equipment, turbines, or similar industrial assets.

Effective customer service abilities, including transparent communication and professional interaction with clients and stakeholders.

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
